About Teuro Granen: Specialist in Raw Materials for the Compound Feed Industry

Teuro Granen Tilburg B.V. has been a trusted name in the trade of grains and raw materials for the compound feed industry since 1987. However, our roots reach much further back and are deeply rooted in the rich milling history of the Teurlings family.

The history begins in 1867 with Adrianus Antonius Teurlings, a miller at the mill on Lijnsheike in Tilburg. As was customary at the time, the trade passed from father to son. His son, Willem Teurlings, born on December 28, 1897, took over the mill and married Maria Catharina de Jong in 1927. This led to the establishment of the family business Teurlings-de Jong.

In 1923, the company relocated from Lijnsheike to Piushaven 17, a newly developed trade center in Tilburg. Here, the enterprise continued to flourish, alongside other local businesses such as grain and flour merchant Schraven-Eijsbouts.

From Miller to International Trading Company

After the passing of Willem and Maria, their daughter Corrie took over the management. Over the years, the focus shifted from animal feed production to the trade of raw materials for animal feed. The company evolved with the times, becoming a reliable supplier for both local and international customers.

Due to a lack of succession, Corrie decided to sell the family business. Under its new name, Teuro Granen Tilburg B.V., the organization grew into an internationally operating trading company, specializing in grains and raw materials for the compound feed industry.

Growth and Innovation

Since November 18, 2013, Teuro Granen has been under the leadership of Maykel van Dongen. Under his direction, the company has continued to grow and has strengthened its market position. Partly due to this growth, in April 2023, we relocated to a modern, strategically located premises on Ringbaan Noord in Tilburg. Previously, we operated from Westermarkt, but with the new location, we are even better equipped to efficiently serve our customers and further expand in international trade.

With our rich history and strong future vision, we continue to build sustainable relationships and supply raw materials for the compound feed industry.
